Over the past few weeks the Club has held a series of meetings with the RFU to contest the decision that allocated Lymm to National League 2 (N2) West and following a formal review last week we have now been informed that we will be playing in N2 North next season.
While we are obviously delighted at this news our preferred outcome was for a 15 team N2 North league that includes Lymm and Chester. Despite both clubs making this proposal, and with no little support from the other clubs in N2 North, the RFU has regrettably advised Chester that they will be playing in N2 West.
