At present the game is ON. There will be a pitch inspection tomorrow (Saturday) at 9am. Once the situation is known this post will be updated. So please keep an eye on the website.

The following games are already postponed:

Lymm 2nds v Blackburn 2nds

Wilmslow 2nds v Lymm Eagles

Lymm travel to Fylde for their first match of 2025, certainly an eagerly anticipated contest between the clubs currently sitting in second and fourth places in the League table.  This fixture last season produced, arguably, the finish of season with Lymm fly-half Tom Shard eclipsing Jonny Wilkinson’s 2003 RWC Final drop goal to win the match 15-14 with the last kick of the match – a match played in dreadful weather.

Since Lymm prevailed in the reverse fixture at Crouchley Lane in September, both teams have enjoyed a purple patch with Lymm winning 10 out of 11 matches for 50 League points and Fylde 8 out of 10 for 42 points.  With both teams having showed on more than one occasion this season their ability to win matches at the death, this promise to be a full 80 minutes of action packed rugby.

Kick off is at 3pm.  Hopefully, there will be a large contingent of Lymm supporters there to cheer on the lads.
