1st XV Away to Sheffield – Saturday 7th December 2024

Lymm travel to Sheffield on Saturday for what will be clash of two sides at the top end of the National 2 North table.

Sheffield have progressed consistently following their promotion from the Midlands Premier League in 2022.  They finished third last season while doing the double over Lymm – 41-26 at Beechwood and 28-24 at Sheffield –  and have only lost once this season, 12-13 at home to Leeds Tykes.

This week’s fixture promises to be a close affair with Lymm still unbeaten at the top of the table with 11 straight wins and maximum points. The weather and pitch conditions could go a long way to determining which team comes away with the win and any bonus points earned.

Kick off at Abbeydale Sports Centre is 2.15pm.  Hopefully, there will be a large contingent of Lymm supporters there to cheer on the lads.
