Cheshire U17’s v Yorkshire U17’s

Lymm RFC were honoured to host Cheshire U17s v Yorkshire U17s, at Beechwood last Sunday. A closely contested and entertaining game, watched by a sizeable crowd, saw Yorkshire win in the final minutes with a converted try.

6 Lymm players have represented the club in the Cheshire U17s squad this month and 3 played in Sunday’s game. Cheshire had 2 earlier wins vs North Midlands & Staffordshire.
The players are – Oscar Bode-Hey, Ben Youlden-Cole, Rory Smyth, Alexander Mukherjee, Nathan Parker-Priest, Jacob Mungai

3 of them have been with us since U5s & the other 3 have joined over the seasons. Ben scored 2 tries at Sixways in the first away game & one yesterday. We are really proud of these boys and all our U17s squad, they are a credit to our club.
