“Collect Art in Lymm have generously donated to the club, an original piece of art which we are going to auction off to help raise funds for the club’s children’s Christmas party on 18 December 2022.

The successful bidder will be announced at the children’s Christmas party on 18 December 2022. To try and avoid matching bids, please ensure that you bid a ‘unique’ amount of money. In the event of there being two or more identical highest bidders, they will be contacted and invited to increase their bids.
The picture is an original Marc Grimshaw in oil and would retail at between £500 and £800.
It is 30” x 24” in size and signed but not framed.
Marc Grimshaw (1957) is a British Post-war and contemporary artist born in Macclesfield and schooled at the Manchester School of Art.
He established himself as a talented artist, and is widely recognised for his capacity to capture in pastel, street-life in the 50’s and 60’s.
Marc’s versatility has seen him create wonderful portrait oil paintings too, with his works including a series of iconic celebrity portraits, of which this rare piece of a young Al Pacino is one.
