John Monaghan – RIP

The Club is saddened to report that John Monaghan has passed away. John came to the Club in the 1970’s from Bury RUFC and played in the senior teams before becoming a stalwart of the 4^th team front row in the 1990’s. The picture above records a Lymm 4^th  v Lymm Colts match in which John (centre of the back row) was delighted to be able to compete against his son Matt who went on to play for the 1^stXV.

The funeral is at 13:10 pm on 2^nd November 2023 at Warrington Crematorium.

Our thoughts are with John’s wife Judith and all the family at this difficult time.
