Lymm Manor Road Walking Tennis ups the pace!

Walking Tennis at Lymm Manor Road Tennis Club, in the Walled Garden of Lymm Rugby Club, is going from strength to strength as it continues to attract increasing numbers.

If you love tennis this is a fantastic way to stay active but offers a gentler pace of play that is both fun and inclusive, and involves an hour of playing, followed by refreshments.

Walking Tennis is open to everyone and takes place on Thursdays between 1pm and 3pm, in the beautiful surroundings of Lymm Manor Road Tennis Club, in the Walled Garden at Lymm Rugby Club.

A friendly tournament of three Walking Tennis Clubs, including Manor Road, has also been organised on 16 September at Birchwood Tennis Club. Couples from that will progress to a county festival of Walking Tennis in Shrewsbury in October, organised by the Cheshire County Lawn Tennis Association.
