Lymm RFC adds professional experience to the forward pack

We are delighted to announce that former Sale Sharks and Bordeaux Begles forward Ben Lloyd has joined the squad for the 2020/21 season. Ben, a product of the Lymm High School talent conveyor belt and an England U18 international, has enjoyed a very successful career with spells at the Sharks, Bordeaux, Sedgley Park and Sale FC. He brings much needed experience to a young and talented group of forwards and has expressed his excitement at working with the younger players and helping them to reach their full potential.

“I’m keen to help the young guys get better, see where they can improve and understand what’s going to help them take that next step as players” Ben said of the opportunity to join the Lymm squad.

Forwards coach, Curtis Langdon is excited to work with Ben, “We have been in communication with Ben for a long time and it’s fantastic that he has decided to join the team. I’m really looking forward to the contribution he can make to the squad having played at a top level, and he’ll bring some valuable size to the forward pack”.
