This week has seen the RFU move from Stage B to stage C in its “Return to Rugby” strategy, a positive step on the path towards a full return to rugby at grass root levels. This development will hopefully entice many of our members to get their boots back on and join in with some form of ‘competitive rugby’. In doing this we want to bring to your attention the important requirement of “Track and Trace” for members entering into all activities at the club.
In line with the latest guidance from the RFU and the NHS we have established track and trace protocols to collate the contact details of any attendees on site during training, matches and any other facility usage, including all participants and parents. These records will be kept for 21 days and used in accordance with GDPR legislation. It is vital that you complete a self-assessment before leaving your home – if you display any symptoms you must Stay At Home.
The link to the Google Form that will support this process can be found here, on the club social media channels and on site at the club. You can use your phone to scan one of the QR code posters, which will take you directly to the form where you can enter your details. This must be done each time you attend Lymm RFC.
Please remember: No-one should participate in any type of sporting activity if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following Covid-19 symptoms:
• A high temperature
• A new, continuous cough
• A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste
Should an individual exhibit any such symptoms, they should follow NHS and PHE
guidance on self-isolation with immediate effect.
Should you develop symptoms please make the club aware via the ‘contact us’ section on the website.
It would also be beneficial to inform the club official responsible for you section
(DoR, Chairman of M&J, Head Coach, Chairman of Squash, Chairman of Tennis etc).
