Lymm Rugby Club is proud to welcome Egg Chasers Sevens Academy

The EggChaser 7s Academy is the UK’s largest professional rugby 7s academy providing a direct route into our elite men’s and women’s squads.

Since January, the Academy has seen 8 players already progress into the First or Development Teams.

The Academy is managed by Head Of Coaching – Edd Rhodes, Assisted by Head Of Athletic Performance – Dallas Price & Head Of Medical – Beth Jefferies. They are all employed full-time by EggChaser working across both the senior and academy teams. Will Cotterill & Troy Lee are also full-time academy coaches.

The Academy currently operates in England, however, will be launching in both Wales & Scotland in due course.

The Academy is split into regions, all of whom operate their own training & playing schedule. Each region has a dedicated manager.

The Academy starts at the U13 age group, with trials for those in their summer of their U12 season. The Academy is run for both male and female players.

Players in their U18 season, may be offered an opportunity of a scholarship contract with the senior squad upon leaving the Academy.

75% of our first team squad, which includes over 50 internationals. Coach within the Academy. Their playing CV includes appearances at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games & World Cups.

A Master Class and Skills School will be held at Lymm RFC on Friday 5th July from 6pm to 9pm. Ian Cope will be at the session to help host.
