Manor Road Tennis Club Official Opening Day

Manor Road Tennis Club (MRTC) has moved to a new home in the Walled Garden at Lymm Rugby Club and will be holding an official opening ceremony on Sunday 10^th September 2023 in celebration.

The date is also the M&J Rugby Registration day, when the courts will be open in the morning  for prospective M&J rugby players, parents and siblings to come and have a go.

The Manor Road Tennis Coach Martin, will be on court to talk to and discuss coaching sessions and other tennis club members will also be available to answer any questions.

The formal opening will begin from 2:30pm with the Mayor of Warrington and local MP Andy Carter, along with 40 guests. Members are also invited to attend, both to observe or participate on courts, as well as purchase food and drink from the marquee that is being constructed, and at the Halfway House.

The four new, all-weather, artificial, Tiger Turf, floodlit courts are attracting a lot of attention locally and currently available both to MRTC members and on a ‘Pay and Play’ basis to non-members.

Special deals are also being offered to families who may wish to join both the rugby and tennis clubs.
