A BIG reminder that there is a Season Start Festival for ages 4 to 18,on Sunday 4 September, from 9am and running throughout the day.
There will loads of fun planned, as well as training, with the Senior Colts starting their first match with a league fixture against Preston Grasshoppers, KO at 2pm on the AGP.
There will be cake sales, sweet stalls, bottle tombola, raffle and the usual bacon and sausage butties plus the obligatory hot dogs for the minis, and the Halfway House will be open for coffee and beer. Also there will be a fundraising car wash going on, to help Dads out of that Sunday chore! (please bring cash).
Sessions will be spaced out for this first Sunday to give everyone room and time to get acquainted and also the chance to sort out registration. Parents are asked to come to the clubhouse 30 minutes before their child’s allocated pitch time to complete registration details and subscription payment. Will Hind (Chair Minis and Juniors) and David Simpson (Club Chairman) will be circulating between groups to welcome you all, to take questions and any offers of voluntary help.
