Sale Sharks Foundation Rugby Club Run

Lymm RFC is taking part in the Sale Sharks Foundation Club Run on Friday this week. The running event will see a rugby ball carried in relays by 9 local clubs to cover over 80 miles ending at the Sale Sharks stadium in time for their first home game of the season against Harlequins on Saturday.

50% of the funds raised from donations will go to the participating clubs.

The Club’s leg of the relay leaves Beechwood and finishes at Liverpool St Helens RUFC, at total distance of almost 17 miles.

2 former players, Jake Ashall and Sam Mullarkey will be sharing the load with Jake doing a 6.5 mile first leg to Warrington where Sam will pick up the ball and take it the remaining 10.3 miles to Moss Lane, St Helens.
