Thank you for your donation to RFU Injured Players Foundation

We have received a note of thanks to everybody from John Pemberton of the Manchester Referees Society. John has been fundraising for the RFU Injured Players Foundation since the start of the season and collected just over £400 at last weekend’s game against Ilkley, bringing the total raised to nearly £11,000.

After refereeing the third team in a comfortable victory over Glossop, John caught a train to London to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in a personal best time of 1 hr 27 mins 25 secs. He is now looking forward to the final month of his fundraising whilst running the Manchester Marathon next weekend followed by the London Marathon on 28th April.
