30/01/20 | 1st Team
Once again Lymm are without any home games this weekend. Lymm 1’s are away to Rossendale; 2’s away to Birkenhead Park 2’s; 3’s away to Wilmslow 2’s.
7th placed Lymm 1st team face a couple of tough away games over the next two weeks. The first this Saturday is against Rossendale who are in 9th place in the league. It is always tough to come away with points from The Marl Pits and the weather could have a significant impact on the result of this match. Then on Saturday 8th February, they travel to play 5th place Sandal.
6th placed Blackburn, with 43pts, are 1pt ahead of Lymm. They are at home to 8th placed Lirkby Lonsdale who are on 37pts. One must fancy Blacburn here but a KL win will keep things close in mid table.
Any spectators are welcome to travel on the team coach which will leave the club at 11.45am. It will return after the players post match food.
Lymm 2nd XV have had an excellent season and this Saturday are away to Birkenhead Park 2″s in the NORWIRUL Cup KO 2.15pm. The winner will go through to the semi-final.
Lymm Eagles have a tough away match against league leaders, Wilmsow 2’s. Wilmslow 1’s are away, so the game will be played on their 1st team pitch. Oxygen tanks needed on the touchline me thinks Henders.
