Time To Be Radical

This article by the former rugby international and regular columnist Brian Moore appeared in the Daily Telegraph this week and we felt it was worth repeating on the Lymm Rugby website.

The piece is entitled ‘Time to be Radical’, and recommends how the RFU should structure the non-payment of players below a certain grass roots  level. Lymm Rugby Club has been operating in this way for some years now and, while perhaps we have not got everything right, this mirrors where Lymm RFC is in the rugby spectrum and the future approach the RFU should be considering.
