Under 14’s at Chester 8th October 2023

The U14s were due to make their annual trip to the Kirkby Lonsdale Festival in the Lakes, but a last minute postponement because of flooding meant a hastily arranged visit to Chester instead – ironically it turned out to be a scorching October morning!

Lymm got off to a flying start with four quick tries in what is always a close and competitive fixture. As the game progressed Chester came back into it and with 20 minutes remaining the match was all square as the lads began to tire in the heat. A monumental last quarter saw Lymm run in a further five tries to seal a great morning’s rugby played in a fantastic spirit as is always the case between these two sides.
