Stuart Hesketh, Hon President, welcomed Lymm to Powderhouse Lane for the first time since 2010, when Lymm were promoted from North 1 West. Lymm and the hosts have, over the years, always shared mutual respect and excellent social camaraderie. This was now going to be tested as this was a game that both sides needed to win, to hopefully move away from the relegation end of the table.
