Walking Tennis pair stroll into County Tournament

The Lymm Manor Road Tennis Club Walking Tennis team of Kevin Shields, Mark Schmider, Max and Elita Grunblat took part in the LTA Walking Tennis Tournament at Birchwood Indoor Centre today (16/9/24)  against teams from Birchwood, Bramhall, Culcheth and Helsby.

The Lymm MRTC winning doubles pairing of Kevin and Mark, now progress into the County Tournament to be held in Shrewsbury later this month.

If you are interested in Walking Tennis then head to Lymm Rugby Club’s beautiful walled garden where you will be warmly welcomed onto the all-weather tennis courts, every Thursday 1pm to 3pm, followed by refreshments and a chat!
