Lymm Under 5's 2024/25 Season
Lymm Under 5’s are our youngest age group at Lymm, mainly for children in reception although we can take a year younger in some cases. We play Tag (non contact) rugby in a safe and friendly environment where we aim to develop the whole child through rugby but where the focus is on fun and enjoyment.
In this first year we concentrate on agility, balance and co ordination skills which are the building blocks of a rugby player but also fully transferable to other sports. The children are also taught the fundamentals of rugby such as passing and catching, and the importance of being a member of a team.
The Under 5’s do not play fixtures but train every Sunday at the club from 9:30am to 10:30am in the ‘Walled Garden’. We do sometimes move, mainly due to weather, so please contact our Head Coach if you fancy coming along.
New players, both boys and girls, and parent coaches/helpers are always welcome. Each new starter can enjoy three trial sessions with no commitment to join unless the child is happy to continue. Most important for many is a free hotdog at the end of the session.

Please be aware that training and fixtures can take place on the Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP), as such compliant footwear is compulsory. Please ensure you have familiarised yourself with the AGP protocols and are compliant before attending.
